Welcome to this offering of military history resources and ramblings related to unconventional warfare. After more than 30 years of study in the field, I finally decided it was time to save and share the fruits of my obcession. It may take some time to format and dump that content so please check back often. My primary interest/obcession/ailment for as long as I can remember has been military history. During the Vietnam conflict I became interested especially in the history of guerrilla warfare. Therefore, I hope to provide resources here primarily related to unconventional warfare.
Unconventional warfare is a very broad term encompassing sometimes apparently contradictory or ambiguous concepts. It is, to a great extent, defined differently by different people. I will not attempt to define it completely in my own understanding other than to simply say my understanding includes warfare of irregular forces whether they be citizen-militia, volunteer cavalry, revolutionary guerrillas, non-state-allied fourth generation warfare (4GW) combatants, or a number of other non-conventional warfare combatants or tactics. I hope you find the resources here helpful and will return from time to time for updates. Please feel free to make recommendations for outside resources to link or make book recommendations.

Organization with a site map of a topic such as this is a bit of a challenge. Admittedly, I have not spent a great deal of time attempting to create the ideal site map. Hopefully, some thoughts will occur to me as the site takes shape. Feel free to share your thoughts on this topic as well.
